Performing FAQs

What performance services do you offer?

I am a classically-trained, versatile artist with experience performing weddings and sacred music, providing cocktail music for events and intimate house concerts, giving youth outreach concerts, working in recording studios solo and with other artists, and performing with touring musicians and bands on the concert stage. Sounds like your event? Let’s talk!

If your event is more unconventional, definitely reach out to me - I’d love to be a part of your vision!

Do you travel for performances?

I am willing to travel with no extra charge within the Triad region (Greensboro/Winston Salem/High Point) of North Carolina. If your event is outside the Triad, additional fees may apply. Contact me for more info! Ask me about my destination event and wedding discount!

Do you provide accompaniment or other musicians?

I do not provide my own accompaniment. When you book me, you are booking a violin soloist. However, I am more than happy to work with other musicians, and if you’d like to find additional musicians for your event, I am more than happy to help!

What are your rates like?

Please contact me directly for rates. Know that they reflect a high level of artistry and care for your event. I am always willing to work with you if my quote isn’t what you expected!

Can I make special requests for songs?

Yes, you absolutely can and I love getting special requests! If the song needs to be arranged, I’ll need some advance notice, so if you have something in particular you’d like to hear, just let me know as soon as possible!

What genres of music do you perform?

I’m a classically trained violinist who can perform songs from several different genres! Playing Irish folk, soft rock, arranging a pop song or performing a tango are some of my favorite performance opportunities, so if this sounds like your style, let’s chat! If classical is more your speed, I can guide you towards recommended pieces that would suit the feel of your event.

Do you perform for outdoor events?

I do perform for outdoor events - woodland weddings and patio wine soirées are my jam! However, due to the fragile nature of their wood and varnish, violins cannot tolerate being in very hot (above 95°), very humid or cold environments. They also do not do well with precipitation! I recommend that clients ensure they have some sort of covering available at their venue in the case of inclement weather.

Whatever your vision is, I’d be honored to be a part of it.
