When you meet me, you’ll find that I’m a passionate and upbeat fellow learner, committed to not only teaching you an instrument but helping you develop your own creativity in the process.
I emphasize a holistic approach to teaching, where I include a variety of disciplines and skills. I’m not just teaching you how to play an instrument or a specific piece, but also giving you tools to become a more culturally aware, curious and effective individual. I believe that exposure to music theory, music and art history, efficient learning strategies and healthy movement principles make lessons much more exciting and effective.
Lessons with me center on classical training as a base, while incorporating other styles to give you a wide repertoire and the chance to make your learning your own.
If you’re someone who loves creating and learning, is excited about all the aspects of music making, and who wants to nurture their body and mind, then you and I might be a perfect fit. I teach ages 5+, from little ones to those young-at-heart. Check out my learning options to the right and below.
